RESY: Research Area


The laboratory "Embedded Systems and Robotics" (RESY) was founded in November 1999. The lab works on information processing  systems, that are part of an enclosing system. This property results in  special requirements and influence by the enclosing system on the embedded system.

The RESY Lab investigates this area of computer science for robotics applications. Requirements are demanded of a robot as an information processing subsystem of his working environment, such as the ability to sense and influence the environment, real-time processing, fault tolerance,  robustness, and/or autonomy. The RESY Lab examines for these systems in particular the design,  modeling, implementation, programming, test, maintenance, and application.
